The image of Aksobhya Buddha as arrayed in offerings and new garments
during the Satpujas. Aksobhya manifests the mirror-like transcendental
insight, adarsajnana (insight as in the mirror, knowledge of which, as in
a mirror devoid of coloration, the archetypes of things are reflected).
This is essentially the state of developing the will (determination) to
become an enlightened being. In yet another context, Aksobhya is held to
preside over the eastern Paradise of Abhirati and, at one level, devotees
may wish to be reborn there.
