This detail shows the folds of the drapery along the Buddha fifgure's left arm. The raised "fold" with the central groove is identical to that of the 477 C.E. standing Maitreya image. Pointed ends of the "folds" implying that they have been stretched over the body, are a distinctive Bei Wei period convention and is also apparent in the 477 C.E. standing Maitreya image.
