Iconography/Iconology: Bull and peacock. The Bull and peacocks are common
motifs on the burial pottery of the Indus Civilization. The peacock is thought
to be a symbol of immortality, while the bull is associated with prosperity,
well-being, and success. It is interesting to note that the bull-man and
bulls have flowers between their horns. How this relates to the bull-man
of the "yogin" seals is unclear.
