Stylistic Comments: By far, the majority of Indus seals have simple
inscriptions on them in the distinctive "Indus" script. There
have been seven transliterations of this script, but none have achieved
universal approval as to the validity of the readings. It is probable that
the seals are simply names or identifiers for commercial purposes.
