Lolei, 893 (not pictured), the ancestor temple of Yashovarman I (r. 889-ca. 910), son of Indravarman I. Built on an island in the Indratataka reservoir at Hariharalaya. Six towers were planned, only four were completed. The front towers were dedicated to Shiva as Indravarmeshvara (King Indravarman I) and as Mahipateshvara, Yashovarman's grandfather on his mother's side. The back towers were dedicated to Gauri, Shiva's shakti or wife, under the names of Indradevi and Rajendradevi - the wives of Indravarman and Yashovarman's grandfather. Yashovarman then moved the capital to Angkor where he constructed the great East Baray (reservoir) known as Yashodharatataka in inscriptions, and several other monuments. (tataka = reservoir)

Other temples built by Yashovarman (not pictured):

1) a temple on each of the 3 mountains around Angkor: a temple to Harihara on the mountain of Phnom Dei north-northeast of Angkor, a complex of 3 towers on a platform dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma, on the mountains of Phnom Bok to the east of Angkor and Phnom Krom, to the south (see discussion under "Other information" below).

2) Preah Vihear, a temple dedicated to Shiva with a long axial approach, set on a cliffside. This temple was expanded by future kings, and was in the area controlled by the Khmer Rouge for many decades. It is accessible through Thailand.

3) a temple dedicated to Vishnu, one dedicated to Brahma, and one dedicated to the Buddha just south of the southern border of the East Reservoir. These 3 temples were all in a line.

4) about 100 ashrams throughout Cambodia, perhaps dedicated to the local deities.
