In a ritual conducted only upon rare occasions, a fire is built upon a temporary sacred diagram in front of Gelubai's tree. A priest feeds the fire with ghee while intoning verses to the Supreme Goddess Chandi (a form of Parvati), requesting her Divine Presence in the village to solve a crisis.
