"Shofu"(zephyr, gentle breeze)
This was the very first work done by the artist after returning from
a short visit to America. The bracing wind in the area, friendly and kind
people, wonderful arrangements for the exhibition, -everything moved the
artist. He chose to do the compositional type most favored by the staff,
ichimatsu, the checkered pattern.
