"Negawakuba Negawakuba" (I pray, I pray)
The depiction of two branches of cherry blossoms suggests the earnestness of a growing tree. To add a feeling of Japan into the first show scheduled in the U. S., the artist used sumi ink to express the beautiful cherry blossoms, the symbol of Japan. An illusionary world in enhanced by the lightness and darkness of the ink.
