"Tenchi Kouou"
(Heaven and earth in unison/response)
After a visit to America, the grand sight of earth inspired the artist
to create this work. Earth - heaven, people - people, parent- child. These
relationships echoing one another suggest the metempsychosis (at death,
the passing of the soul into another body) of our nature. The artist challenged
this piece with a soft sheep-hair brush charged with sumi ink, and with
benevolence. (A twenty year old paper from china was used.)
