"Hitotsu"
Taiyomo hitotsu,
Getsumo hitotsu,
Myojomo hitotsu,
Chikyumo hitotsu,
Jikomo hitotsu,
Hitotsu mono ni hikari are,
inochi are
"One"
One sun,
One bright star (Venus),
One earth,
One self,
In one-things
there is brightness, there is life.
In this poem, the message, "no matter how large the scale, you are
one of a kind," is suggested. The image of a small bowl is taken from
an actual ceramic bowl made by the artist and from a wonderful memory.
