The fourth of the so-called "Great Stupas" is located in Bandegaon. This stupa is approximately 10 - 15 feet high, including the umbrella that rises above it. This site is always counted among the four Great Stupas because it was said to have been above the water line when the valley was still submerged by the great lake.
